Unless you have a professional background as an announcer, don't attempt to create your own podcasts. The finished podcast should be well produced with a seasoned host and production team. Then, there's the marketing. Like other things in business, podcasting takes a certain skill set which is best left to the pros. One of the finest in the business is Ron Small, our award-winning producer, director, writer, and radio personality. He has a unique ability to make any guest feel relaxed.

Ron Small Producer/Host

Our Communicator and eight time Telly Award Winning host/producer, Ron Small's exclusive interview with Lisa Mitchell, President of Hagemeyer USA, takes us behind the scenes at Hagemeyer, a global company with varied custom-tailored business-to-business solutions in safety products, electrical materials, and industrial products.

"Our new president, Lisa Mitchell, discussed her views on Sustainability, Customer Service, and more. Rather than the usual corporate policy statement, this interview allowed Lisa the freedom to share her thoughts, in her own words, on subjects that matter to our customers. We named the podcast series 'Straight Talk' and posted individual clips on our public website. And because Lisa was new in her role as our president, with less than a year of service when we did the podcasts, this medium proved to be a very effective way to introduce her to the industry. The relaxed, personal, and conversational tone of the clips was just what we wanted."

Join us for an interview with Lynn Kornya, director of Admissions, Marketing, and Development at Mason Prep, an extraordinary private school with an emphasis on excellent academics and citizenship in preparation for secondary education within a nurturing atmosphere.

"In the competitive private school market in Charleston, South Carolina, being on the cutting edge is key. The Mason Preparatory School podcasts, produced by Ron Small of Creston, have not only enhanced our website, they are informative, conversational, motivational and at the same time directional. With the questions posed by Ron, the listener is able to get a true “feel” for the school and its mission.

"Choosing a school is a serious decision. With the podcast affording the client the opportunity to hear a friendly voice, the task seems less daunting when hearing the explanation of our admissions process. Our podcast has been a terrific asset in our recruitment process as well as enrollment." -
Lynn Kornya

Ron Small and his guest Anne Lee, the Founder, President and CEO of Darkness to Light, discuss Anne's extraordinary prevention program for the reduction of child sexual abuse. Retrospective studies show that 1 in 4 women and 1 in 6 men were sexually abused before the age of 18 (CDC, 2006). This year, 500,000 babies born in the US will be sexually abused before they turn 18 if it's not prevented. Studies show a relationship between sexual abuse, teen pregnancy, drug use, alcoholism, and obesity.

"Message is always key. Maybe even more so when it?s a tough topic like child sexual abuse. We are grateful to Creston Advertising and Ron Small for giving us a great platform like this podcast. The topic is complex and sometimes very difficult to communicate in a 30 second sound bite ? so having the luxury of time for a meaningful conversation is exactly what is needed." - Anne Lee
